About this role:
In this role, you will own the full development lifecycle, from architecting new features to shipping them to production, utilizing your strong experience with web applications and databases. We're looking for a self-starter who understands best practices and can drive projects autonomously without needing extensive mentorship. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with both engineers and internal consulting partners, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your strong front-end skills using tools like Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind to build a beautiful and efficient web application that our customers use to design and monitor the performance of their value-based care contracts
- Leverage your strong backend development skills in Python and with platforms like Databricks and AWS while working on the processing of high volumes of complex healthcare data
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to create a user experience that intuitively conveys complex healthcare and financial information
- Collaborate with an actuarial science team that primarily works in SAS, R, and Excel
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and overall development of our products
- Drive innovation and deliver valuable features for our customers
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on the team
About You:
- 5-8 years of experience in data-intensive, full-stack development projects
- Demonstrated ability to build an MVP and scale it into an enterprise product
- Able to work entrepreneurially – self-motivated, ambitious, and fast-paced
- Able to ship extremely high caliber code and build exceptional products
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to perform under minimal supervision with accountability for specific objectives and work in a rapidly changing, ambiguous start-up environment
- Passionate about improving and innovating
- Startup experience is highly preferred
- Python, R, SQL, Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Infrastructure: AWS/GCP, Databricks, Heroku, Airflow, Sigma
- Version Control: GitHub
- Team Planning: Jira, Confluence, Figma

The salary band for this role is $170,000 to $215,000 a year +/- depending on experience.
