About the Team

As a member of our Digital Products Implementations team, you will be at the forefront of partnering with our healthcare provider clients — understanding their needs, architecting solutions, and project managing the end-to-end process to implement digital solutions and products. The digital implementations team is the glue between Datavant’s healthcare provider clients and various cross-functional teams within Datavant across commercial, product, engineering, and business operations. Your work will be critical to growing Datavant’s business and enabling our healthcare provider clients to drive improved patient outcomes.

About the Role

As a Product Implementation Consultant, you will work directly with Datavant business operations, healthcare provider technical and non-technical stakeholders, and Datavant product and engineering teams to implement digital technology products that support Release of Information (ROI) and Healthcare Information Management (HIM) activities. You will:

  • Manage the end-to-end process of setting up Datavant clients with digital products solutions, including managing internal and external project team members to hit project milestones and deliverables
  • Own the technical configuration, project management, integrated testing, technical troubleshooting, and change readiness activities throughout the project.
  • Act as a technical and product expert as issues and questions arise throughout the implementation process
  • Ensure success of digital products for our clients and business operations units, gaining a deep understanding of the healthcare providers’ medical records systems and workflows
  • Provide exceptional client service and support, constantly considering ways we could better serve clients through new features, use cases, and products
  • Identify and support automation of repeatable implementations and customer support processes
  • Provide continual feedback to the Product team on how we can improve our product suite
  • Partner with the Sales and Services teams in shaping and closing deals, providing your technical support, product vision, and expert perspective

What You Will Bring to the Table:

  • Consistent ability to ramp up quickly on technical aspects of Datavant’s software and how it can be used for various end uses
  • Curiosity for understanding current processes and products, with an aptitude to streamline and make work more efficient
  • High customer empathy, both for internal and external customers; ability to work in highly regulated environments and push through bureaucracy when necessary
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with an exceptional ability to handle multiple client projects simultaneously, including systematic follow up and responsiveness to client requests
  • Proven ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to navigate ambiguity with considerable success
  • Proven ability to communicate cross-functionally with different personas across internal teams (including Commercial [Go To Market/Sales], Business Operations, Product Management, Engineering and Security/Compliance)
  • Consider yourself highly motivated and driven to deliver results and work through challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset

Bonus, but not required, experience:

  • Prior experience in implementing SaaS integration solutions, such as those through APIs and/or system/application/data interfaces within or between large, complex organizations
  • Prior experience in a healthcare information technology role(s), particularly those related to Health Information Management (HIM) or Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
  • Experience with database management and database querying languages, such as SQL
