Join our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) team to help design, build, and support the cloud foundation that powers Health Catalyst applications. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure solutions that enable engineering teams to build and operate software with confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable and compliant infrastructure solutions, including HIPAA-compliant access workstations, VM images, containers, and centralized logging.

  • Automate deployments and operations using CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and scripting.

  • Implement and maintain security controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

  • Support and troubleshoot infrastructure platform products, participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

  • Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).

  • Strong skills in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

  • Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby).

  • Understanding of cloud architecture best practices and the software development lifecycle (source control, testing, pipelines, monitoring).

  • Experience with Linux administration in both containerized and non-containerized environments.

  • (Preferred) Experience in healthcare technology or working within HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2 compliance frameworks.

Information Security and Compliance

  • Complete required training on Information Security, Acceptable Use, and HIPAA Privacy and Security.

  • Adhere to the organization’s security policies and report potential incidents promptly.
