Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Python, ETL development, and data engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large-scale data processing systems, relational databases, ETL tools, reporting platforms, and Python-based automation solutions.
The role involves designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise data pipelines, reporting solutions, and database-driven applications in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also be expected to work closely with US-based clients and stakeholders, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience in the healthcare domain is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data integration workflows.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects in MSSQL and MySQL.
Work with ETL tools such as Pentaho or equivalent technologies for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
Build Python-based automation scripts and data processing utilities.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports using reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in SQL queries, ETL jobs, and reporting systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather and implement data requirements.
Communicate effectively with US-based clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and resolve technical issues.
Participate in client discussions, status meetings, and technical walkthroughs.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across multiple systems.
Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and production support.
Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in SQL (MSSQL and MySQL).
Hands-on experience with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) or equivalent ETL tools.
Experience in Python scripting, automation, and data processing.
Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of AWS services and cloud-based data processing concepts.
Experience communicating with US-based clients and working in global delivery environments.
Good to Have
Basic healthcare domain knowledge.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience Required
5+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering, ETL, or data engineering roles.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
