We are seeking a Clinical Research Neurologist to join our growing outpatient neurology and clinical research program in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This role is ideal for a neurologist interested in combining outpatient neurology with meaningful participation in industry-sponsored clinical trials within a collaborative, physician-led environment. The position offers the opportunity to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) while working alongside an established research infrastructure with dedicated coordinators, operational support, and active clinical studies already in place.

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, and federal/state regulations

  • Evaluate and manage outpatient neurology patients participating in clinical research studies

  • Oversee study conduct, participant safety, and data integrity

  • Collaborate with sponsors, research coordinators, pharmaceutical partners, and regulatory personnel

  • Review study eligibility, protocol compliance, and adverse event reporting

  • Support patient recruitment and retention efforts for ongoing studies

  • Ensure accurate and timely research documentation and reporting

  • Participate in oversight of operational, regulatory, and compliance-related aspects of clinical research activities

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the clinical research program

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree

  • Completion of accredited Neurology residency program

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Utah

  • Prior experience as a Principal Investigator (PI) on industry-sponsored clinical trials

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient neurology practice

  • Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and research operations

  • Strong interest in clinical research leadership and program development
