As Product Director, Front End Platforms you’ll be a key leader within the product organization at Unite Us. This is a unique role that involves leading the product platform team - harnessing front end platforms and end-2-end user experience definition to bind together Unite Us’ web products. This is a new team which you will have the opportunity to build and shape.
In this role, you'll own the platform-wide products, features and functionality that create a common and unified experience across our breadth of products - such as our navigation, information architecture, content management, design system, messaging and notification patterns. You’ll also take a lead from a product perspective on selecting and implementing tooling required for A/B Testing, Product Analytics, messaging, in-app notifications, content management and translations. You'll work cross-functionally with all of our product verticals to ensure that users have a cohesive platform experience. You will also work closely with your engineering and design counterparts, as well as go-to-market teams, to deliver feature and design enhancements and support multiple strategic initiatives that cut across multiple domains. What You'll Do:
Partner with engineering to define and execute a vision and strategy for the front end platform.
Synthesize customer and user feedback to identify pain points and deeply understand their problems and translate them into product improvements and enhancements.
Lead the prioritization and development of your product's roadmap to deliver value to our customers and the company.
Closely partner with our design team to ensure optimal user experience on core features across the site. Some of the features within the platform team include: accessibility, navigation, messaging, content management, notifications, A/B testing and multi-language support.
Define the product KPIs and track the success of the features that we launch.
Identify and manage third party software providers, where you have chosen to leverage best in class third party solutions for specific features and functionality.
Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 product managers, focusing on performance management and continued growth.
Cultivate an environment where people can bring their whole selves to work and advocate for your team and team members.
You’re a good fit for this role if you have:
5+ years of experience in product management and product leadership.
Product management experience, with a track record of owning features and product development.
Experience with managing product platforms or multiple product verticals at the same time.
Experience working on technical projects that enable other teams.
Self-directing with strong prioritization and leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills, able to act as an ambassador for Unite Us’ product vision to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Someone who has a high focus on shipping products, and is able to make trade-offs that require prioritizing different competing demands.
Positive ‘can do’ demeanor, self-motivated, and self-directed.
Adaptable: Ability to dynamically adapt to shifts in priorities, resolving contention and solving problems across teams.
Environmental Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
This position is remote, U.S. based
The target pay range for this role is: $175-185k
