We are looking for a VP of Business Information Systems to lead cross-functional technology transformation (strategy & implementation) of 3rd party technologies (ie CRM, Call Center Tools, Credentialing Systems, HR Systems, etc.). This role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

    You’ve worked in organizations big and small and have a special knack for helping large, cross functional projects remain unblocked
    You are always able to find opportunities to leverage existing software and services to create better business outcomes
    You are highly organized and detail oriented; structured in your communication and thinking
    You can simplify the most complex problems down to the critical parts that need to be done.
    You have no ego and can get your hands dirty with any stakeholder in their function (ie, listen to customer support calls, walk through an ops process, talk to finance about their billing, etc.).
    You are constantly curious and thinking about “how can I make this experience better.”
    You are good at sorting out ambiguity and consolidating different needs into coherent actions.

Your Responsibilities

    Be the internal owner for 3rd party tooling and systems. You are the face of process scalability!
    Manage the strategy, implementation, major updates & general maintenance of core business systems including but not limited to: AdvancedMD, Salesforce CRM, Sage, GoCo, Greenhouse, and Symplr.
    Ensure alignment, consistency and interactions between business systems
    Ensure implementations robustly meet core user needs and maximize the way we leverage the tools
    Create consistency between systems so we don't just build out things for one group but think about how each tool we have fits into more comprehensive, cross functional operations
    Plan, execute, and document cross functional system changes
    Manage a flexible team of contract and FTE members - depending on the needs of the project(s) at-hand.
    Implement an effective change management process to reduce pain to the business and its employees
    Partner with CTO & CPO to architect our internal system design - understanding the tradeoffs between various systems in their different states as well as tradeoffs between custom vs. 3rd party builds
    Deeply understand the user needs and requirements, then be able to articulate that back to stakeholders
    Manage vendor relationships and budgets associated with the org’s 3rd party tools

Your Background

    10+ years experience working in Program Management, Business Systems, or similar roles.
    5+ years in a people leadership role
    You’ve gone through technology transformations and managed change and stakeholders through risk and ambiguity
    Empathetic and caring people leader who can balance that with providing direct feedback and
    Have worked with a mix of onshore and offshore teams.
    Past experience of operating closely with a C-Suite
    Demonstrated ability to manage time and schedules to meet deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
    Has a proven model for approaching technology implementations
